How To Make Subtle Smokey Eye

We all have a signature look when it comes to fashion and dressing up but what about beauty? There is always a specific formula of shades and shapes that works for us when we don’t have time to over think and a subtle smokey eye look is my everyday formula. Let me confess, I’m not a big makeup guru, I don’t have million brushes required for the endless shades of eyeshadow applied in one look but I know what looks best on me and here’s how I do it!
I don’t remember when I stopped wearing foundation but it feels like ages ago now. First, I started using BB creams which was enough for me on a daily basis but not enough to cover pimples or dark spots when I wanted go for a flawless skin for a night-out. Then, I switched to CC creams the coverage is close to the covergirl!
A pea-sized dab goes a long way and gives great coverage without lines or streaks.
I am pretty much a black eyeliner girl but it takes some serious effort to apply. When I don’t have that motivation to create a precise liner look- which I usually don’t have in the mornings, I prefer to use a brown eye pencil to create a soft, flattering natural look, perfect for the daytime. Thanks to Trestique i found exactly what i need.
I usually start from the wing then draw a line. For a more dramatic winged look, draw farther out and angle the liner slightly more. You can be messy here, we will blend later.
Trace over that pencil line with dark eyeshadow. I prefer cream eyeshadows. The focus is on the outer corner and the lash line. Add eyeshadow & pencil even under the eye. Extend it till the middle portion of the eye.

Add black mascara.
I like wearing soft pink lipsticks when I go for a brown smokey eye look. A small touch of pink creates the impression of a sweet, energetic girl, I think.
And of course, The Essentials.

I’m ready!
By the way i'm using Trestique cosmotics. And thanks to Trestique for making such great products. My skin feels fresh and i recommend it to everyone. I use vegan products and they're great.
